Our Story
Gastroculture- If you had to sum up Terra Viva in just one word that would be it. The combination of gastronomy and horticulture. When Terra Viva opened its doors in 1997. It was the realization of the twin passions of husband and wife team, Juliet and Peter Worsp. Peter's strengths lay with the garden centre, while Juliet's happy years of cooking for friends and family made the cafe an obvious choice for her. Inexperienced and nervous, Juliet started small and that was a big mistake. After 4 extensions, we have what is here now.
Our teams love to have fun, they are always on the go, they all gel well together and their personalities are so very different. This is what makes us helpful, friendly, welcoming, accepting & therefore provide an environment that is comfortable, lively & safe.
Brunch, lunch, street food, snacks, cabinet food, muffins, scones, slices, cakes Out catering, functions & lets not forget the special High Teas. We have something for everyone created & designed with love, experience & passion. Bubble & Squeak, benedicts, a fresh seasonal menu that changes 6 times a year, our own sweets baker - almost everything is homemade.
