Our Story
Vermont House
The Vermont House is an 1850s colonial inn that historically existed in the heart of deerfield valley. Recently renovated in 2014 to offer best accommodations that Wilmington has to offer. Our rooms are modern, clean and offer very comfortable beds. Since we are heart of the town, several restaurants are walking distance and top restaurant, Alpenglow, is only two buildings away to enjoy your morning coffee at the Village Roost across the street. Or enjoy a fresh squeezed juice from our own Green Mountain Squeeze at the first floor. And wine bar in the evening. For the winter, free shuttle to Mt. Snow is 450 ft away at the downtown Wilmington. Several of our guest love this service, so that they don't have to drive up and park at the Mount Snow. Our GM, James Casterline, is town's well-known entrepreneur who is great chef and establish Green Mountain Juice company. He has great leadership skills that shows attention to detail and working with great team of people at the Vermont House.
