Barefoot Cay Resort

We’re a boutique resort with two components – Barefoot Cay (where our 6 oceanfront villas, pool, spa, palapa, and restaurant are located) and Barefoot Divers Building (home to our 4 spacious oceanview accommodations, PADI 5 star dive center, and offices) on the shore, overlooking the Cay and the Caribbean. Our collection of accommodations include thoughtfully appointed amenities including Heavenly beds with high quality linens, luxury bath products, A/C, Wi-Fi, Apple TV and courtesy cell phones. Our step-on pontoon passenger ferry is available to transit guests across the 85’ channel between the Roatan shore and the Cay at any hour of the day or night, and the resort is situated in a central location on Roatan’s south shore, offering a perfect jumping off point for exploring and experiencing the island. Our on-site PADI dive center, Barefoot Divers, offers valet diving and a full spectrum of exciting Scuba and snorkel experiences. We have boats departing daily at 8:30am, 10:30am, and 2pm, and the dive sites we visit are anywhere from a 5 to 15-minute ride from the dive center (there are well over 30 fantastic sites within this range). Many of the sites in our area are characterized by dramatic reef walls, starting in the shallows (topped with sandy patches and coral heads), and dropping off far beyond recreational dive limits... all of which are teeming with a variety of life, from pelagics to macro. There are also a couple of wrecks that we dive as well. Of course, Roatan's famous "Mary's Place" dive site, with its stunning crevice swim-throughs, is just a few minutes from Barefoot Divers by boat. We offer small groups (typically 6-8 divers per boat, though our boats can accommodate up to 10), and all our dives are guided by PADI professionals. Fresh fruit, water, and towels are provided on every dive.
