Our Story

White Street Brewing Company

Dino Radosta had no intention of starting a craft brewery. In fact, in 2011, Dino knew nothing of the then 20-year craft beer revolution. Heck, he didn’t even drink beer! Not an impressive start, is it? Well, Dino did know the “craft” part. Growing up in New Orleans, he loved heritage, community, and anything with a sense of style. Years later when he fell in love with North Carolina, Dino knew he wanted to build something that mattered. There stood the Service Chevrolet building, on White Street, as it had since 1920. Dino stripped it down and restored it to its original structure and character. The brewhouse and taproom were built with equal care, and the new brewery was named “White Street” to make it easy to find. (Spoiler alert: It didn’t work) Today, White Street Brewing Co. stands as a prime example of Wake Forest’s history and spirit. We brew our beers with the same level of commitment. We sweat every detail. We don’t cut corners on methods or ingredients, and we never go home early. So far, it’s worked. We’ve raised a family of delicious classic beers we call our Main Street Series, some future classics in our Side Street Series, and some neither-confirm-nor-deny stashes of secret goodness in our Back Alley. For residents and visitors to Wake Forest, our taproom is wide open. As well, you’ll find our hearty collection of 12-ounce treasures in a zillion different area shops and taps. For craft beer that’s actually well-crafted, look for the White Street sign.

Our Menu

Our Main Street Series beers are always available in the Taproom plus 5-7 rotating playground beers: Kölsch: Light German malts, bright Noble hops, and cold, clean water. Simple ingredients shaped by Carolina craftsmanship. Hoptastic: Hazy, juicy goodness. Packed with tropical and candied fruit flavors that showcase the elusive Zamba hops. Hoptimist: Bright citrus and pineapple aromas, absurd amounts of West Coast hop in a body big enough to back it up. Tangled Oaks: Irresistibly smooth, with a rich mahogany color and sweet, malty character. Inspired by the Scottish Highlands, crafted in Carolina. Merideum: Merideum is the word that Trappist monks used to describe the space between heaven and earth. Actually, it's not. We made it up. But the flavors of this authentic Belgian Tripel are so good that you'll feel like you're there in that space between sin and salvation. Brilliantly golden with honeyed malts, finessed fruit flavors, and a subtle clove finish. Trappist tradition meets Carolina craft.
