Our Story
Sooriya Weaving
Sooriya weaving mills is largest hand loom factory & outlet for entire southern province ( Galle , Matara & Hambanthotha District). Free entrance and Factory tour. Outlet with exclusive hand loom product range like custom made Clothes, Shawls, Table Runners & mats , Serviettes ,Kitchen towels , Bed linen & runners , Bath towels ,Sunbed covers & Cushion covers , souvenirs and many more gift items. YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN PRODUCTS WITH US, WE WILL TRAIN YOU We bring the 100% virgin cotton row yarn and do the manual dyeing with fire woods according to the our own colour palette. We dry those yarn hanks on natural air , which you can see during the factory tour. Then we do the yarn preparation in order to fix the wood manual hand loom machine. Then we put that set of yarn layer in to the hand loom machine and we weave the 100% cotton custom made fabric which we can’t find anywhere in the world.
