Ome Aad's Borrelboot

Hello everybody! My name is Uncle Aad and I will take you through the harbours Rotterdam on my pubcruise. The most beautiful city of the Netherlands. I have roamed the world for years and visited many cities. Seen, tasted and lived a lot. Yes!.. Uncle Aad had a different bird in every city. Not anymore, of course. I settled down and absolutely love my sweetie Johanna. I call her Jo because I think Johanna is a bit frumpy, but you shouldn’t tell that. Let me introduce you to my pubboat. She is a boat from 1898, the year the golden carriage was built. Once used as a passenger ship between the South Holland islands, then used as a sport fishing ship on the Oosterschelde and via Hellevoetsluis as a tour boat when I found het. This is how she ended up in Rotterdam as the coziest partyboat in the World. At least that’s what I think. You can trust me on this fact. I have sailed all the seas, seen many ships, bars and restaurants. What I like most about my pubboat is that everyone feels at home. My boat is the living room of the river Maas. You are allowed to grab your own drink, dance and enjoy yourself to the fullest. The cruise is filled with tasty snacks on the table and if you wish you can order all kinds of food from all the travels I have done. I tasted as much as I could during my time traveling, stole the recipes and brought them here just for you. My one and only love Jo is a real kitchen princess and she prepares almost everything herself. Mexican, Indonesian, Indian, Asian, English, French, Spanish, Italian, North African and many more other cuisines come together in the kitchen of the Borrelboot Rotterdam. You must be thinking: Is this too good to be true?! No it is not. We are just very down to earth. Because of the travels Jo and I experienced, we are very committed to people, animals and the planet. That is why I make sure that all the products we use are organic. At least, almost all your products. To give some examples; we use a burger with half meat, half oyster mushroom. There is always plenty of choice ; a BBQ with (how we call it) legs and tails, without legs and tail or half and half. And the best of all, for every visit you make to my partyboat we plant some trees. With the help of “Trees for all”. So you can sail with your heart in the right place. Every drink you drink on board with us, makes the world a better place.
